Box Office Pulp – ZODIAC Commentary Track

This is The Box Office Pulp Crew Speaking. We are the podcasters who recorded the BOP ‘n A Movie feature commentary for David Fincher’s underrated modern classic, ZODIAC. We would very much like to see you listeners wearing some nice BOP buttons in the vein of “Where’s the Beef?” But… that’s neither here nor there. If our spooky executioner hoods haven’t scared you off yet, you should come join us this balmy summer night circa 1969 as we watch this often-forgotten true crime epic. Just be wary of any strangers stepping out of the darkness.

Box Office Pulp – Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley’s Island of Dr. Moreau

We all experience failure from time to time. And when that failure concerns animal people, voodoo magic, pig lady orgies, and Albino Brando, some of us have to go to a Necromancer named Skip for a little help. Join the BOP Crew as they delve into the documentary, LOST SOUL: THE DOOMED JOURNEY OF RICHARD STANLEY’S ISLAND OF DR. MOREAU, and narrowly avoid being replaced by John Frankenheimer in the process. Dashed dreams, Val Kilmer, and the littlest man in the world on piano? We’re well versed in at least one of those things already.

Box Office Pulp – Maniac (2012)

Push that cassette into the player and pump up the volume of that synth score, because it’s time for another Mini BOP! And for this one, you are NOT to go out tonight. You are to stay home with JAMES and MIKE… as they discuss the horror remake ‘MANIAC’! Starring Elijah Wood and his many mannequins.

Box Office Pulp – JAWS Commentary Track

Just when you thought it was safe to go back on the internet, the Box Office Pulp crew emerges from the depths, bringing with them the very first BOP ’n A Movie! That’s right, the normal podcast wasn’t enough… so we’re gonna need a bigger BOP! In this inaugural feature commentary, MB, James, Mike, and Cody put on their snorkels like half-assed astronauts and go swimmin’ with bowlegged women as they discuss the king of summer blockbusters: JAWS!

Box Office Pulp – Marvel’s Ant-Man

MB and Cody shrink down to the quantum realm to get a closer look at Marvel’s newest superhero film, ANT-MAN! For all your bad Nick Nolte impressions and soul-crushing reminders that the first 10 minutes of UP are gut-wrenching, this episode has you covered. And just so the obligatory Zoolander joke is made, yes, this is a podcast for ants.

Box Office Pulp – HELLRAISER REVELATIONS

From the shadowy void does rusty chains shoot, digging their way into supple flesh. As the box is caressed and opened, all is revealed in this TALES FROM THE BOP! For this installment, two members of the crew have returned from their gaze into hell and used the blood of the living to bring themselves back for one reason: To record this episode! Skinless or not, Mike and James sit down with the rest of the crew and recount, step-by-step, their horrifying encounter with the Doug Bradley-less, porno budgeted, direct to video rigmarole, HELLRAISER: REVELATIONS.

Box Office Pulp – Avengers: Age of Ultron

There are… no strings… on Box Office Pulp. Meaning we are now free to record this episode all about AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON! Does Hulk smash? Is Black Widow still the coolest thing since sliced bread? Does The Vision’s arrival into the realm of celluloid change our world forever and for the better? The answer to all these questions is YES! Thankfully, we talk about way more than those three things in our discussion, otherwise I would have ruined it.

BTBB Drive-In – COTTON COMES TO HARLEM

In which Gravedigger James and Coffin Matt hop into their solid gold pimpmobile, battle Johnny Quest henchmen, and discover the hidden secret of Sanford & Son, as they watch Cotton Goes To Harlem. THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST LEISURELY LIFE-OR-DEATH PURSUIT I HAVE EVER WITNESSED

Box Office Pulp – Clive Barker’s Nightbreed

Deep beneath a local backwoods cemetery, the Tribes of The Moon have gathered to welcome the newest member to their breed: The Box Office Pulp Crew! After their God burns us and we(hopefully) survive the trial, we take an all too close look at the contents of Clive Barker’s head, and what might be the cultiest cult film that’s ever culted! Talkin’ about NIGHTBREED here, folks. The movie that taught us that both everything is true, and David Cronenberg is a scary sombitch. Are YOU dreaming of Midian? Then this episode’s for you.

Box Office Pulp – MAD MAX: FURY ROAD

Our name is Box Office Pulp. Our world is podcasting. And blood. There’s still lots of blood. AND GUZZOLINE! Grab your wheels, War Boys, and prepare to chrome yourselves up for the gates of Valhalla, because we’re about to die historically! That’s right, the BOP Crew is finally gonna figure out who’s more crazy in movie podcasting… themselves or everybody else. But before that, they’re gonna down some mother’s milk talking about MAD MAX: FURY ROAD!
